Ryan Edwards has elicited high praise from critics and audiences alike for his portrayal of Verdi’s Macbeth.  Opera (London) wrote:  “In the title role, Ryan Edwards made a strong impression.  Tall and handsome, he has a firm, evenly produced baritone voice.  His finely moulded singing displayed suavity in the last act aria and incisiveness in the scene of the apparitions.”  The News American hailed his “superb portrayal,” noting that his “conscience-tortured Macbeth was made memorable by the warmth, flexibility and stirring timbre of his voice and by his fine stage presence.”
